Headline changes

Manage and standardise invoice charges

The 7bridges software has a log of all the charges that appear on invoices from your Logistics Service Providers (LSPs). To provide full visibility and flexibility to 7bridges customers, an enhancement has been made to the Data manager - charges section that allows approved user roles to amend the clean charge names and/or the charge category. Changing the category will also update the Network analysis spend reports.

A charge detail page has been introduced, displaying key charge attributes and allowing users to access detailed charge information directly from the Data manager > Charges table or from the Shipment > Charges section.

View configured fulfilment rules (BETA)

Many businesses have complex decision‑making logic when it comes to shipping, which is often undocumented or held by individual employees, creating risk and inefficiency. Through fulfilment rules, the 7bridges Automate product helps customers automate this decision‑making to streamline and standardise their shipping processes.

As part of a BETA release, a new read‑only view of configured fulfilment rules is now available via the Shipments page. Automate customers can view the rules configured on their account and better understand how booking decisions may be influenced, including informational indicators such as OVERLAP and CONFLICT, without changing any operational behaviour or impacting shipment bookings.

Commercial invoice declarations and templates

Commercial invoices can now be configured in advance with product and/or destination specific declarations. These are then applied automatically when booking international shipments using fulfilment rules, additional declarations or customised invoice templates are selected based on predefined conditions, reducing manual changes and ensuring regulatory accuracy

Ready to pay invoice notifications

Additional invoice ready to pay notifications have been created, which will send the recipient a copy of the invoice attachment. Please refer to this article for more information on how to manage the recipients.

Shipments - Invoiced tab

To provide full visibility to 7bridges customers on shipment activity, an enhancement has been made with the introduction of a new Invoiced tab, which displays all shipments booked directly or ingested into the 7bridges software.
