Here are the key changes to the 7bridges software as of 28th January 2026

7bridges now uses an external service to check on the live uptime status and historical uptime percentage: how can I see the uptime status?
Headline changes
Spend alert detail page
Spend alerts are created as part of the Audit process. New spend alerts are displayed to the user in the Audit spend section, including the provider, account, related invoice, spend alert type and spend alert value. Unfortunately extra details like charge name received, total value and shipment status are not displayed.
To provide full visibility to 7bridges customers, and to help them with the decision to dispute (or archive) the spend alert, a new spend alert detail page has been created.
Document receipt connections
Multiple connections can be created, for the same Provider, allowing for different AI data extraction for different document types e.g. PDF, CSV/Excel, invoices, shipments etc.. An enhancement to the AI data extraction tool has also been released allowing for connection points to be designated for a specific extraction workflow. Any related workflows will be visible in the document receipt connection section.
A priority connection can also be identified as the master source; this will ensure any data received to this connection point will be prioritised over any other connections.

Automatic deactivation of users
To ensure 7bridges software is secure, any inactive users are now automatically deactivated. Any users who have not logged into the system for 90 days will be deactivated with warning emails sent to the impacted users at 60 days and 75 days of inactivity.

Improvements to Automate performance
We made some upgrades to how documents and labels are generated and printed as well as how larger orders are processed.
Improvements to shipment tracking
We have also updated our shipment tracking connection, the change will be seamless to users and no difference should be noticed.
Enhanced shipment volume counts in reports
To provide enhanced visibility for shipments ingested into the software, we have updated the reports to also include shipments where no charges have been received. For example, if general shipment data has been provided but there are no provider invoices. This means that reports about shipments in Network Analysis are more accurate.

Improved contact support form
The new form provides additional fields and prompts when reporting an issue. The how to raise a support issue page has also been updated with the new form.
