Differences between bookings and shipments in the 7bridges software
- A booking is the initial details, before being submitted to a provider for Automate customers.
- A shipment is the representation of the whole shipment including both after a provider has accepted the booking (for Automate customers) or the details from any ingested data (for Optimise customers)
Prior to delivery, the booking view can be accessed from the shipment view by clicking on the Related booking hyperlink in the top right-hand corner next to the Share button, as shown here:
