There are a number of places where spend is shown in the Network Analysis section, what is included in this?
Including taxes or not?
One of the major advantages of the 7bridges platform is to aggregate and standardise invoice spend across your logistics service providers. This normalising of differing spend means we can total all the individual charges for each shipment into a total net cost value.
These total spend values you see throughout Network Analysis are always the total of all charges exclusive of any VAT. They can include specific customs and duties amounts as well as other common elements like fuel surcharges and discounts.
In summary: Spend totals are the total net charge.
What kind of charges?
At this time, only charges from invoices that are connected to a shipment tracking reference are included in Network Analysis? Generic charges on invoices that are not directly connected to a shipment are excluded.
