It is important to note that the customer will be the “Declarant” for all customs declarations.
7bridges are not customs experts and require that the customer takes responsibility for the correct configuration of their customs declarations. At minimum a customer export representative must be available to answer specific questions to ensure correct configuration.
7bridges software connects via an API to send customs declarations, when applicable, based on information set-up in advance with the customer. Some Countries allow electronic trade and other Countries require paper invoices to accompany the shipments.
Please note, not all values required to send/create a customs declaration can be passed via an API. This means that some customer specific configuration and logic must be set-up in advance.
