How can I un-void an invoice?

If an invoice was marked as void by mistake, you can un-void it easily in the software user interface.

If the invoice is marked as not void all reports and dashboards will include the data again automatically.

Only customers on Prepay Audit can void, un-void and link invoices.

Only users with roles Finance or Admin have the capability to mark an invoice as not void in the 7bridges software.

Steps to un-void an invoice

  1. Go to the invoices section

  2. Locate the voided invoice you would like to un-void

  3. Click on the invoice to view it in detail

  4. Click on the Actions drop-down button and select Mark ‘Not void’, as shown below:

  5. Add a reason for the un-void action and click Confirm

  6. A message will be displayed advising you have successfully marked the invoice as not void:

Please note, the status will be updated from Voided to Needs action (if this was the previous status before the void was set) or Processing for any other status before the voided status. Note, an invoice will not return automatically to Ready to pay.
