What does my FedEx booking error message mean?
Common booking error messages, what they mean and how to resolve them.

FedEx returned error: Authentication failed
FedEx returned error: International Importer of Record - Postal Code not Served
FedEx returned error: Invalid Recipient StreetLine 1
FedEx returned error: Total commodities weight is greater than package or shipment weight

FedEx returned error: Authentication failed
This error usually indicates an issue with the configuration or authentication of the selected FedEx account.
What to do:
Contact your FedEx account manager to confirm that the account is correctly configured and enabled for shipping.
FedEx returned error: International Importer of Record - Postal Code not Served
This error means that FedEx does not recognise or support the postcode provided for the Importer of Record.
What to do:
Check that the Importer of Record address and postcode are correct. If necessary, cross-check the postcode using a reliable postcode or address finder for that country.
If the details are correct but the error continues, contact your FedEx account manager to confirm whether the location is supported.
FedEx returned error: Invalid Recipient StreetLine 1
This error means that FedEx cannot accept the information provided in the recipient's Address Line 1.
What to do:
Check that the recipient address is correct and that Address Line 1 contains a valid street address.
If necessary, cross-check the address against your records or using an online mapping service such as Google Maps.
If the address is correct but the error continues, contact 7bridges Support for assistance.
FedEx returned error: Total commodities weight is greater than package or shipment weight
This error means that the combined weight of the commodities in the shipment is greater than the total package or shipment weight.
What to do:
Check the commodity, package and shipment weights and ensure that they are correct.
The combined commodity weight must not exceed the corresponding package or shipment weight.
Once corrected, try booking the shipment again. If the error continues, contact 7bridges Support for assistance.
